I don't know if the Mainboard fucked itself up after my first boot. Since I now reached the end of my admittedly limited knowledge, I turn to reddit and ask for more qualified help. I returned my SSD and got a new one (identical model), but nothing changed.

I clean erased my M.2 SSD via my Mainboard, didn't change anything I changed from CMS to UEFI and from RAID to AHCI, didn't change anything I ensured, that the M.2 slot on my motherboard was the right one (although I changed the M.2 SSD to the other slot anyways - didn't change anything and it did initially work during my first bootup in the first M.2 slot) I cannot partition my M.2 because it does not show up in Disk management The device shows up in my BIOS hardware manager and I tried several things recommended by other sources I found. However, although internet works normally again (yay), I still cannot see or partition my M.2 SSD in windows 10 (nay). Long story short, after trying several solutions, I cleared my CMOS and installed my operating system anew. After one reboot, I could no longer see or access my M.2 SSD drive in windows (BIOS still shows a WD device connected to the M.2 slot and recognizes a 1TB SSD drive) and I couldn't acces the Internet anymore. However, I apparently fucked some things up with some updates/drivers. Recently I bought a new PC (with friendly recommendation from r/buildapc), including the above stated Motherboard and two SSD drives, one for my operating system (a Samsung 860 EVO) and one for games and stuff I use on a daily basis (the above stated WD Black SN750, 1TB).Īfter setting everything up, I installed my operating system and at that point, I was able to see and partition my M.2 SSD normally. Windows 10 Home (on Samsung 860 EVO SSD)Īfter fruitlessly searching through several troubleshooting guides I know ask reddit for help, because my frustration about this matter is growing.
